1) WHO CAN PLAY WITH US?
TheatreWorks Stage (Grades 6-8)
Actors, Ensemble, Choreo, Artistic Design, and Stage Crew, anyone who wants to learn about and be on the team.
swBand (Grades 4-8 who excel in lessons)
Band will perform music to accompany the show
Stage Choir (Grades 4-8 who are also smSingers)
Stage is the vocal companion to the band, making great ensemble sounds form the orchestra pit. Active members of The Saint Mary Singers are eligible for this role
Alumni, sign up, too, and be kept in the loop, possibly help as coach
2) HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Dues: $30. Please also participate in our fundraisers, ticket sales, etc.
Fine print: What if I don't signup now before the season starts?
My roster starts at 0, and you must sign up to get on it (doesn't matter if you have signed up for another show in the past). When the season starts, I the signup page offline and I export everyone's info into a chart and make it neat and useful.
If a student does not signup during the signup period they would be "flying under the radar" and would neither be considered for a part on stage or written one for the band, they would not get a t-shirt, email or other communications, and even if I remember to put their name in the program I would probably spell it wrong -- because this person would not have signed up to be on my roster.
Homework assignment #1: signup.
3) WHO GOES TO CASTING AUDITIONS on October 4th?

This will be the first item on the audition day timeline, you'll be done by 3pm
Band?? / Choir??
Most band members are also scheduled in private lessons, which are at once a weekly audition and coaching session. Students have every opportunity to show us they are interested and up for the challenge.
Likewise, stage choir members are studying and performing weekly or more with The Saint Mary Singers. They are ready to rehearse.
So, it is not necessary to audition
If you have not played in an ensemble with us before and would like to find out more information and tell us about yourself and your skills
4) SEASON OVERVIEW
Regular Wednesday ThWrx rehearsals will begin September 27th
Rehearsal schedule will make use of Wednesdays and sometimes Fridays and lunch time
