  • CLICK HERE to Sign Up online for the TheatreWorks/swPitBand FALL 2017 season

    • Interested Students (Grades 4-8) are also scheduled in private lessons, which are at once a weekly audition and coaching session.  Students have every opportunity to show us they are interested and up for the challenge.

    • If in doubt, ask us.

About the SoundWaves Big Band

Band rocks!  ​

  • Typically, we run the SoundWaves Pit Band & Big Band in context with the seasonal TheatreWorks performance​

    • ​Students need to sign up for each show/season roster

    • For intermediate level students with strong practice ethic

    • We often invite and encourage any students who show us in lessons they are ready

  • Other ensemble opportunites for students can also be found with:

    • SoundWaves Cafe

      • Open to any students invoved in lessons or other performing arts teams

      • make your own ensemble independently and with our guidance​

      • perform SWBig Band music in a smaller group and less formal setting

    • The Saint Mary Singers​

      • Practice and perform weekly all year in liturgies and other special events​

      • Limited number of chairs available for the most dedicated musicians

    • And more--you, students, make the program and opportunities happen

  • Alumni, you are also encouraged to sign up if you would like to be kept in the loop, too!
